The MIDI files here are just as they were generated by MIDImage and have not been edited except for length. Additionally, a conscious decision was made to present samples which are pretty basic, almost "first drafts", rather than ones which have been worked and reworked extensively. We feel this is more honest, and gives a better idea of what to expect when first starting to use the program.
For better examples of what can be attained with a little more work,
please see these samples
provided by The Door Into Summer.
The first row samples were created using only the standard sounds (General
MIDI) which came with the SoundBlaster Live 5.1 card. The second row samples
were created using multiple SoundFonts®, and are only available
as MP3 files, since the MIDI file would not sound the same using any other
sounds.
