Track Editor
Currently, Track Editor form provides three functions:
-
Rearrange the tracks by dragging them with the mouse to new positions.
-
Copy a track by highlighting it (a left click of the mouse),
right-click and choose Copy,
then click another track (an unused one or one currently being used),
right-click again and choose Paste.
-
Mute a track temporarily by unchecking the box.
This will set both the Min and Max Velocities to 0.
Re-checking the box will restore the Velocities to what their previous values.
These checkboxes should not be confused with the Active checkboxes.
Press the Set Changes button to make any changes permanent.
(Muting will not carry over. The Min and Max Velocities will revert to their normal
values, even though the Mute checkbox may still be unchecked.)
None of the changes will take effect until they've been set and the image has been
rescanned. Additionally, the Mute will not work until the changes have been set.
Hints
-
To avoid confusion, it is suggested that you NOT attempt to combine Muting with Rearranging or Copying.
-
Moving a track does not "leave a hole". The other tracks will shift.
-
Be wary of any Rearrange or Copy operation which involves Track 10.
Due to the built-in default percussion nature of the track, you may not get the results you expect.
Specifically, you cannot copy or rearrange Track 10 when Track 10 is Percussion is set in the Options menu.
